Why Choose Mount Brow Vineyard for Your Wedding

When you’re searching for a wedding venue, you’re not just looking for a pretty backdrop. You’re looking for a place that feels right — somewhere that gives you space to breathe, room for your people, and the kind of setting that makes the day feel like yours.

At Mount Brow Vineyard, that’s exactly what we set out to create.

Nestled on 82 acres of rolling vines and golden Sierra Foothills hillsides just outside Sonora, Mount Brow is a private, family-owned property designed for celebrations that feel personal. We’re close enough to Yosemite and the Gold Country towns to make destination weekends easy, yet tucked away enough that your day stays peaceful and private.

Here’s why so many couples choose to say “I do” here.

The Land Feels Like an Escape

The first thing people notice is the space. Eighty-two acres of open sky, vineyard views, giant oaks, and rolling hills give you options instead of limitations. Ceremony locations range from the vineyard itself to wide lawns and mountain-view spots under the trees. There’s no sense of being squeezed into a predetermined layout — you get to choose the corner of the property that feels most like you.

That same openness continues into the evening. The grounds easily handle cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing without everything feeling stacked on top of each other.

A Blank-Canvas Barn + Real Getting-Ready Spaces

Our 2,500-square-foot event barn is intentionally simple. It’s a clean, open space that can become whatever your day needs — rustic, elegant, modern, or somewhere in between. You’re not locked into someone else’s décor vision.

The Bridal Suite and Groom Suite sit nearby and are designed for the actual experience of getting ready. The bridal space is light-filled and comfortable for the whole party. The groom’s suite has a kitchen, bar, seating, TV, and a pool table — more “man cave” than formal waiting room — so the guys can actually relax before the ceremony.

Stay On the Property

One of the biggest advantages of Mount Brow is the ability to keep your closest people on-site. Our 3,300-square-foot vacation home sleeps up to 14 and sits on the same 82 acres. That means the wedding party (or immediate family) can wake up already at the venue, enjoy the pool and hot tub the day before, and skip the logistics of driving back and forth from town.

For many couples, this turns a single wedding day into a full weekend of connection.

Family-Owned, Not Corporate

Mount Brow is owned and operated by our family — Brandon, Jessica, Waylon, and Addison. We found this property in 2020 and immediately saw what it could become: a place for our own kids to grow up and a venue where other families could create lasting memories.

Because we live on the property and care about how it feels for every couple, the experience tends to be more personal than what you get at larger commercial venues. We’re present, responsive, and invested in making the weekend run smoothly.

Flexible and Realistic

We’re a raw-space venue, which means you bring your preferred caterer, florist, photographer, and other vendors. That flexibility lets you build the day you actually want instead of working around a long list of preferred (and sometimes restricted) partners. We provide the beautiful setting, the barn, the suites, tables, chairs, and parking — you shape the rest.

If you’re looking for a private vineyard setting near Yosemite with real breathing room, thoughtful getting-ready spaces, and the option for your closest people to stay on the property, Mount Brow is worth a closer look.

We’d love to show you around. Book a tour or explore the venue details and vacation home when you’re ready.
